Moore Kiwanis serves the community of Moore. In addition to service projects, the club conducts various fundraising activities throughout the year benefiting the children in the community.
The club meets the 2nd Monday of each month at noon and the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00pm. You can find us at Earl’s Rib Palace on SW 25th Street.
We welcome anyone interested in Kiwanis to join our club meetings.
The club is part of Division 30, which also includes the towns of Chickasha, Del City, Mustang, Purcell, South OKC, Southwest OKC, & Norman. Division 30 is one division of 40 that makes up the TX-OK Division of Kiwanis.

Mustang Kiwanis has been pushing a “Virtual Garage Sale” using Craigslist. It is an easy way to earn some cash for your Kiwanis Club. You simply set up an account (FREE), upload pictures of items, set a Price, give a description and wait for e-mails to come (via Craigslist). No need to give out Address or Phone Number. Potential buyers will ask (via Craigslist link to your e-mail address) if an item is still for sale. Simply reply that it is and ask when they can come look at the item. Once meeting time is established you can provide directions and a cell phone number for texting info if they cancel out or they get lost. Much quicker than e-mail. When posting, be sure you enable option for them to click on a radial button to see ALL that you have for sale, like this:

The Governor Elect has announced planned visits to Regions throughout the Texas-Oklahoma District following his installation. According to Steve Brooks, current Division 40 Lt Governor and Trustee Elect for the Heartland Region 9, the Governor will be visiting our region on Saturday, October 21, 2017. <Did learn that the date may change.> Keep your eyes focused here for more information as it becomes available.

Mustang won First Place for Non-Traditional Scrapbook at DCON 2017. They also won TWO $1,000 T-O Foundation Scholarships.
This was a great weekend for Mustang’s Christine Hoang. We announced that she won one of our two $2,000 Dewey Buck / Cecil Wolf Scholarships. Then it was announced at the DCON Awards Banquet that she won a $1,000 T-O Foundation Scholarship. Later, we told her our Mustang Public School District posted her picture with an article describing her selection to be one of two Oklahoma Students to go to a prestigious Science-Technology Camp:
I was told it had been 10 years since Oklahoma won the Quiz Bowl at KEY Club DCON.
Oklahoma won this past weekend at DCON 2017.
Did you know that Division 30 has a mission? The mission of Division 30 is:
“To serve the children and communities of central Oklahoma.”
To further that mission, the Division has a couple of Signature Projects:
- Annual participation in Children’s Miracle Network Fundraisers benefitting Oklahoma’s own Children’s Hospital Foundation. Fundraisers include
- National Pancake Day
- Sonny Bright Kiwanis Duck Race
- Monthly host for recreation activities at the Veteran’s Resident Center in Norman. VA Bingo is a community-centric project.
